The English Premier League: The Future, '09/'10

You could view this article as a jealous, bias, and childish opinion, but that would make you narrow-minded.

I have been thinking about this major issue with making a big deal out of Steven Gerrard's contractual dealings, from what I read and understand, Liverpool FC are using the fact Steven Gerrard has signed a new contract to secure other players signatures...Now what does this tell us?

Are the Liverpool players only willing to stay on at Anfield if Steven Gerrard stays?, surely that makes them a bunch of mercenaries does it not, also why has Jamie Carragher not heard from the Liverpool board and what if Jamie does not get a new contract?

It seems Liverpool FC are not as organised behind the scenes as they should be so I come to the conclusion Liverpool FC have a bunch of average Joe's in the boardroom which really would account for why they have not improved at all, still biting at the ankles of Man United FC along with Chelsea FC.

Man United FC, it seems Alex Ferguson is taking it upon himself to appoint the next Man United manager himself? what is this all about, Alex chooses David Moyes if the media are to be believed.

After Alex Ferguson's son came out stating his father was ready to retire there has been a stale odour over Old Trafford, after Man United players talking of winning the big five everything has gone quiet, "Oops I guess they saw the big humble prawn pie heading for their face."

The only voice that can be heard at present is Wayne Rooney's, love him or hate him, he's a good striker, but world class? I think not. His ego would state otherwise.

With the imminent departures of Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes, Edwin Van Der Sar, Gary Neville, Cristiano Ronaldo, Carlos Tevez and Alex Ferguson the future does not look bright for Man United so what will happen to all those ego's when the inevitable happens.

Will Nemanja Vidic want to stay on after watching the best leave? With £600+ Million of debt and the Crunch only in the early stages what does the future hold for these two clubs.

We have heard about takeover rumours with Liverpool FC but that is all it amounted to, rumour.

The next three years will be an exciting three years for Premier League fans with more Clubs competing for Champions League places.

Will Aston Villa FC gain the finance they need to keep hold of Gareth Barry and push for a regular Champions League spot?

Will Everton FC sell their star players to bring in a fresh face or two?

Will Tottenham Hotspur FC shrug off the curse hanging over them for completely messing it up and regain that Europa League spot?

Will Manchester City FC gain the right players to mount a top four place for years to come?

Will Chelsea FC fall by the wayside and stutter again?
