The Dynasty Manifesto: The Return Of Sunday Night Heat

Hey who saw Sunday Night Heat? (reading the teleprompter) Noo wait, that was Smackdown? Ahem..Smackdown aired tonight and we saw a..carnival? Where's Kizarny?

People were getting John Cena "can't see me" spray paint tatoos, kids were taking pictures with championship belts, others were hanging around Undertaker's grave props. Why wasn't I invited?

I know it was the wrestlemania axcess tour, but COME ON! We got three matches out of two hours. It was like Sunday Night Heat. All we got was recaps of rivalries and more recaps.

Smackdown might has well just have aired on WWE.COM. The show was a pre-show, a hype show. What did we get?

Shelton Benjamin vs MVP

MVP was cutting a promo backstage and was talking about winning his match against Benjamin and winning the MITB. Shelton came and, once again, provided solid mic work. He's hungry people, he has a chip on his shoulders.

He walked off, after MVP told him off. The key part is that MVP praised Mr. Benjamin, prior to vanquishing him for the time being. The match was good. These two worked well together and Benjamin did a pretty good, front flip neckbraker (or Overcastle), MVP from the top rope. Despite a strong outing, MVP stood tall as his hand in victory, that is good news.

Divas Tag Match

I thought I only loved Maryse on Smackdown. Michelle McCool is really catching my eye lately. She's fantastic! Heck, she can join the list along with Natalya, Maryse, Mickie James, and the heel Bella (Yes there is a difference, look at their abs).

Gail Kim worked well and put Maryse away with that pretty good neckbraker. Ummm..oh yeah! Maria was in the match too.

Jeff Hardy vs Ezeikel Jackson

Main event?! What?! Sorry, I turned the channel. I had to sit down through two hours of promos and children having fun to see this?! I'm sure Jeff Hardy went over anyway. If not, please tell me otherwise.

Rest of the Show

-Kids got Cena tatoos

-Austin's HOF promo (Cult of Personality)

-12 Rounds advertising (They do know it barely broke 5 Mil?)

-Children dressed up a superstars and did custom entrances where they got a DVD of it.

-We watched tons of people have fun in an expo while King and Grisham showed us the same promos we've been seeing for weeks

Sunday Night definitely returned. The only difference is that it was named Smackdown.
