Pro Bowl 2013: Last-Minute Guide with Start Time, TV Info, Rosters, More

The 2013 Pro Bowl is just around the corner, meaning it’s time to hunker down, read up and prepare to watch the NFL’s version of an All-Star game.

In order to best enjoy the viewing experience, you’ll need to know where you can tune in, what time the game takes place, some players to keep an eye on and more.

Let’s take a look at all those things in our last-minute Pro Bowl preview.

Betting Lines:  AFC -1.5, Over/Under: 80

Key AFC Player: Peyton Manning

After locking up the No. 1 seed in the AFC, Manning was expected to lead his Denver Broncos deep in the playoffs, but the Baltimore Ravens had other plans.

The future Hall of Famer watched his team get eliminated in a double-overtime thriller and hasn’t played organized football since. We imagine the pain of that loss is weighing on Manning and he will unleash a number of touchdown strikes in the Pro Bowl to help himself feel better.

Obviously, throwing touchdowns in an All-Star game isn’t comparable to hoisting a Lombardi Trophy, but it’s the least the Broncos QB can do at this point in the season.

Key NFC Player: Adrian Peterson

AP put together a record-breaking 2012 campaign but didn’t stand a chance against the Green Bay Packers in the playoffs.

However, the Minnesota Vikings star is certainly going to be a force to watch when the NFC side has the football on Sunday. He’s one of the most feared runners in the league, and we aren’t too sure many AFC defenders are going to want to take his bruising hits in an exhibition game.

Don’t be surprised to see All Day run wild while he’s in the game.

Prediction: AFC 52, NFC 45

It’s going to be a high-scoring, back-and-forth affair, but the AFC simply possesses better superstars and more hungry young talent.

Effort is going to be the key to winning this, and we believe the American Football Conference will have more than its opponent.

Regardless, this is going to be an exciting game, so make sure you tune in at 7 p.m. to catch every minute.
