Johnson vs. Dodson Fight Card: Three Fights You Don't Want to Miss
When a card is as stacked as UFC on Fox 6, it is hard to pick just one must-see fight.
Seeing a UFC title fight for free alone should get people interested in the fight card.
But it also features a disgruntled former UFC light heavyweight champion in his final UFC fight, two potential title eliminator fights and a hyper former lightweight making his featherweight debut in his home state.
If all goes well, this could be one of the best free cards the UFC has ever put on.
Here are the three fights that you should not miss.
Anthony Pettis vs. Donald Cerrone
1 of 3In a fight that many may predict will be fight of the night, Anthony Pettis meets Donald Cerrone.
Both Cerrone and Pettis have a highlight reel of finishes, and have never been knocked out.
While both men are known for not backing down, tonight's fight should have extra incentive.
A win for either man could put them that much closer to a title bout.
For Pettis it means getting something that he was promised when he first got to the UFC.
For Cerrone, it could mean a third possible bout with Benson Henderson.
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson vs. Glover Teixeira
2 of 3It could be the end of an era...well sort of.
Quinton "Rampage" Jackson has left us with many memorable moments through out his career.
The famous slam against Ricardo Arona, the memorable three-fight war against Wanderlei Silva, and winning the UFC light heavyweight title are just some of the memories that Rampage left us with.
But listening to him be a pain in Dana White's side could come to an end tonight.
Win, lose or draw, Jackson claims tonight will be his last inside the Octagon.
While some will want to see Jackson go out with a vintage knockout, rising light heavyweight star Glover Teixeira will have something to say about that.
Teixeira has 12 wins by (T)KO, and is looking to end Jackson's UFC career on a low note.
A big win could put Teixeira in serious title contention.
John Dodson vs. Demetrious Johnson
3 of 3The night's main event has the potential to be one of the night's best.
That is, if everyone can keep up with the action.
Demetrious Johnson and John Dodson are two extremely fast and talented fighters.
Johnson could prove why he is the first flyweight champ, and why he plans for things to stay that way for a long time.
Dodson could prove that smaller fighters can finish if he can get past Johnson's speed and wrestling.
It could also be the other way around as Johnson could make it a long night for yet another fight.
