A Few Shameless Plugs Never Hurt Anyone…

…well, that’s not entirely true.  No one likes it when Curt Schilling or that stupid blond chick and her twerp of a boyfriend from “The Hills” open their mouths.

Our promotions department here at JoeSportsFan wanted us to remind you about a few things that went down yesterday; the latest edition of our weekly podcast, the results on last month’s “Monthly Mustache Shakedown”, and the relevation of this month’s mustache battle royale category.

First Up: Episode No. 7 proved to be a good one as Bacott and Sebek chatted about the “best sports day on the calendar.” We were later joined by J.E. Skeets, Rick Chandler and our very own Patrick Imig. Obscure references included Press Your Luck, Bob Saget, Air Bud and Gordon Bombay. We never disappoint. Next Up: During the month of March, we debuted a new JoeSportsFan feature called the “Monthly Mustache Shakedown” where our resident mustache expert, Dr. Aaron, will present four esteemed upper lip dusters in a specific category.

Last month’s category featured four prominent St. Louis Cardinals reliever mustaches. Al Hrabosky gathered the highest percentage of your vote and will forever be enshrined in JoeSportsFan mustache mortality.

Coming Up: This month’s category for the Monthly Mustache Shakedown is “Best Sports Hair/Mustache Combo.” Dr. Aaron presented Randy Johnson as the first of four competitors this month…but wants to hear your suggestions. Head on over there and supply your comments/suggestions.
