Tiger Woods' Trip to Austria Fuels Lindsey Vonn Dating Rumors

Tiger Woods managed to create quite the stir just by landing his private jet for a stopover in Salzburg, Austria, essentially reigniting rumors he is dating star skier Lindsey Vonn. 

Sports Illustrated's Golf.com reports Woods made a quick trip to Austria recently, possibly joining up with 28-year-old Vonn, a pal and rumored romantic tie. 

As the report reminds us, this is hardly an isolated instance of smoke with little fire. The two sparked rumors a couple of months ago when Woods was in Vail, Colo., with Vonn back in November. 

At that time, John Meyer of The Denver Post reported that the star alpine skier put a quick end to all the rumors.

“We are just friends,” Vonn said. “My brother was the ski instructor for his kids this November in Vail. Guessing that’s where it came from.”

Remember that Vonn was once hit with Tim Tebow dating rumors that proved to be false, so we tread cautiously through what could be a random and very high-profile hookup. 

Well, Sports Illustrated's Golf.com seems to think there is enough to assume the two may very well be more than just pals:

Now the Salzburg News is reporting that Woods made a quick stop in Salzburg, landing his private jet Sunday and leaving Monday. Vonn was in Salzburg at the same time for a TV interview, according to the article.

When you connect the dots, you get one of two things. Either Woods is indeed dating Vonn, and the two are doing a fairly mediocre job of concealing their various trysts. 

Or, they really could be pals. When you are as rich as Woods, you take the ole private jet to see a friendly face, especially when she is hanging out in a place like Austria. 

We will reserve judgment on these two for the time being, but we may be in store for quite the bizarre and tremendous power couple in the future.
