Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan Go for Liftoff in Houston

Copy and paste this every time the Los Angeles Clippers play a game: Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan threw down two monster dunks.

Just four minutes into the opening quarter of play, Eric Bledsoe did the usual: made an outstanding defensive play. Houston Rockets' point guard Jeremy Lin attempted to push the ball up court, but the 6'1" Bledsoe leaped, tipped the pass and came down with it.

Bledsoe, who is starting his second game in place of the injured Chris Paul, would proceed to throw it up to Jordan.

You know how this ended, folks. Lob City at it's finest.

That certainly wasn't the only significant dunk of the first quarter.

Roughly five minutes later, Griffin knocked the ball loose from Omer Asik. The ball crossed the mid-court line and only Lin appeared to care for chasing it down.

Griffin would catch up with the ball, pick it up off the bounce, take two steps without a dribble and ferociously throw down a vicious jam.

In typical fashion, fans came out in the masses to debate whether or not this was in fact a legal dunk. The objection is that Griffin traveled before going up for the throw-down.

Arash Markazi of ESPN Los Angeles came to Griffin's defense.

Argue if you'd like, but it's two points all the same on the stat sheet.

The dunk ties Griffin with New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler for the league lead in dunks. His total is presently 93, which is almost certain to increase.
