  The Top 10 Reasons the Gators Will Repeat

1. The unusually easy SEC scheduling. Florida Gators really only have two tough task on the road this year: a road game to Miss State and to LSU. Yes, I said MSU, Dan Mullen knows the Meyer system better then anyone in the country, and teams in Miss love to spoil our seasons. The only other tough one is Georgia in Jacksonville.
   
2. The return of the top linebacking core in the nation. While this could be disputed, they were ranked second by sporting news last year and USC's starters went to the pros.
3. Their defense lead the SEC in sacks, interceptions, and ppg in the SEC last year...and that whole defense is back and better then ever.
4. Charlie Strong did not get a new job...enough said
5. Debose, this guy is the new Percy Harvin, and he is looking to make a name for himself early.
6. Coach Meyer is still here, and considering in three in his last five years as a coach, he has had a record of 13-1 or better (13-0 at Utah in 04).
7. Rainey, Demps, and Moody are back; one year older, one year wiser.
8. Brandon Spikes stayed, he is the driving force and field commander on the defense, and he reminds everyone on the other side of the field of that every single game.
9. Preseason ranking always helps a team, if the gators do lose a game, being a preseason No. 1 makes sure they do not fall down too hard and can recover by the end of the season.
10. Tebow is back, and he wants an undefeated season.

Ten Reasons the Gators Will Not Repeat.

1. No team has repeated in the BCS era, though coming so close. FSU in 99/00 losing Richt could be the reason, Miami 01/02 was one penalty call away, and USC 04/05 was one missed tackle away.
2. Big questions at the offensive tackle position.
3. Lord have mercy, there's no more Percy.
4. The target on the gators head will be bigger then  Charlie Weis' stomach.
5. A few trick games, such as Arkansas a week after LSU, and going on the road to Mississippi State and having to face Dan Mullen who knows Meyer better then Urban's mom knows him.
6. New offensive coordinator
7. Tebow has a beard, could this slight variation in weight completely through off his timing?
8. Complacancy is a very serious problem for the Gators, it is hard to stay up for 12 straight games during the regular season, especially if your favored to win them all.
9. Cockiness, if the Gators do not stay humble, their record will not stay perfect.
10. LSU in the Bayou at night....every SEC fan who read this just shivered hearing that statement.
