Things I'm Having Trouble Understanding Both on B/R and Wrestling!

Joe Burgett Mar 30, 2009

***Disclaimer, this may be random***

I am going to take a break from my critically acclaimed series the Secret Life of a Pro Wrestler, to bring you things I just do not understand when it comes to the B/R wrestling section and...well...wrestling period.

I am not a man who writes about B/R often...well now that the lying is out of the way, let us get started.

Many of you have noticed the man known to be my campaign manager Gilligan. Some do not like him already. I appreciate his efforts, however, I have no idea why he picked me to be a huge fan of.

I am getting better as a writer, and I have been known as the guy who knows just about anything rumor wise in the wrestling world.

I liked that I knew that kind of stuff. But of course I wanted to be known as a writer not reporter.

I have given myself hype for a while now, and I am probably the superstar of the section, which stinks because there are so many talented guys here who need attention too.

I think he should really read their stuff, because a lot of it is better than mine.

Of course nothing beats the Secret Life, especially the Manifesto. Just kidding AkD.

And can someone please tell me why review articles get POTD votes? Please. How hard it is to talk about what happened in a game or match? Anyone can do it.

It is nothing special, and it is not worth a POTD vote. If it is well written that is cool, rate it what it is worth.

But do not give it a POTD vote when there is so many other articles out there that are so much better.

They are more creative, make more sense, and make you think about something you did not before.

Even though this may seen weird coming from me, news articles don't deserve them either.

I mean really, tell me Test died one more time and I will have to lash out. How many breaking news articles get them?

Just about all of them. I for one have got many of them for mine.

I would love a POTD, don't get me wrong. I'd take it. But I don't think I deserve it.

Nor would anyone else. But I guess that people on B/R have their own opinion. Just their opinion needs help sometimes in its judgement.

Also can someone please tell me why Vickie Guerrero is still on TV? She is as big as the screen itself and I for one do not think that she is attractive in the least bit. Also she should not be Smackdown GM technically.

Remember Teddy Long was the GM at one time. The now released Krystal was who he was marrying and she brought Vickie back to WWE TV.

Long wanted to get a new assistant GM, so he named Vickie, with Krystal's influence of course. He then had a heart attack and Vickie was promoted new interim GM while he was gone.

Key word, "while he was gone". While he was out, Vickie met Edge and of course the rest is history.

Teddy then came back and became Vickie's assistant? That is kind of stupid in my mind.

It makes no sense in my mind whatsoever. I know they are the only promotion to change their history over and over, but come on.

Also why hide the fact Triple H and Stephanie are married?

All WWE fans know, I can safely say that. That why it was so funny when they kind of made fun of the fact with DX.

I remember when Stephanie was pregnant and Triple H and Shawn Michaels came out and started talking about it, and who possibly made her pregnant.

We all wondered who, and of course Triple H knew but wouldn't tell.

All of us wondered I am sure. And I loved the one where they seemed to just meet when they did the whole court room drama. Stephanie came out of the limo along with Vince.

Vince asked Triple H, have you meet my daughter Stephanie? And they did an awkward stare at each other like two love struck teenagers. It was funny, but still.

Then all the sudden the storyline we are seeing currently. I feel they could have brought it out better, but I am happy with the storyline overall.

Also Stephanie has got her figure back, which is always a good thing.

On another note, John Cena. The Champ is here? Currently the dude is not.

It is not his fault, but the WWE's. Cena is on every single talk show in the history of talk shows.

I have not ever seen one WWE superstar on this many talk shows to promote anything, even the company itself.

He has been at award shows, MTV, talk shows, events, banquets, house openings, ceremonies, and everywhere else possible to promote 12 Rounds. Which incidentally is a 26 percent drop from what The Marine did opening weekend.

Which is not really fair considering those who have seen it say it is far better than The Marine.

I guess promoting doesn't work. Who knew?

The WWE has beaten the horse to death over the past three months on 12 Rounds. We see it on every freaking show.

And can someone please tell me why we see RAW flashbacks on SmackDown for half the show, but hardly anything from SmackDown on RAW?

Seriously, I was watching SmackDown this past week and I saw Orton attacking Triple H all night long. They did it in small segments. It took like two hours to see the thing.

Yet I am sure we will see it on the beginning of RAW this week and then nothing involving SmackDown at all this week on RAW as usual.

I have so much more to complain about, but I think I will stop there.

Feel free to comment on what your hot about.
