Give plenty of credit to A.J. McCarron and Everett Golson, but the two starting signal-callers in this contest both leave something to be desired. One of them is bound to make a critical mistake and will wind up throwing a pick-six.

While we firmly believe ‘Bama coach Nick Saban and the rest of this potent Tide powerhouse is going to claim a second straight championship, Notre Dame isn’t just going to roll over and let them.

The Irish may not wow onlookers with sheer offensive firepower, but their skill position players aren’t exactly scrubs either. There’s going to be ample opportunity to exploit holes in the ‘Bama defense—a great unit but one that isn’t perfect either.
