Scottie Reynolds' Clutch Jumper Leads Villanova to Final Four
With five seconds left, PITT's Levance Fields was fouled. He made both free throws, making it seem the game would end in OT. But Scottie Reynolds' clutch drive down the court and into the paint ended in two points, a 78-76 win for Villanova, and a trip to Detroit and the NCAA Final Four.
An incredible finish to a game that was close all the way through, Reynolds and the rest of Villanova couldn't ask for anything more. So, we should get to know Scottie, as we're sure to see plenty more of him in the Final Four.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
Against PITT on Saturday, Scottie Reynolds had 15 points, two rebounds, and one assist. Reynolds was only 4-11 in field goals, but he buried the ball in the basket when it really counted.
He was the leader in points among starters, and the second in points among the whole team. He emerged from the shadow of star Reggie Redding as the performer for the game, and the hero and saviour in the road to the final four. All eyes will be on No. 1 Scottie Reynolds as Villanova continues in the tournament.
Season
This has been one of Reynolds' best seasons in the NCAA. He is only 0.7 points a game shy of tying his record, and 0.2 rebounds away from tying that one, while he's 0.6 assists a game shy of tying that record.
He has had a pretty good tournament point-wise, scoring eight against American, 11 against UCLA, 16 points against Duke, and 15 points Saturday against PITT. No one knows what he has in store for us in the next game, and possibly another game after that
Career
In his three-year college career (counting this year), Scottie Reynolds has put up some impressive numbers. He has a 15.2 average PPG, 3.4 APG, and 2.9 RPG. He is a Junior at Villanova, which means, unless he enters the draft early, Villanova will have him one more year to make another run for the title.
6-2 and 195 pounds, Reynolds will be very effective in the final four, next season, and in the NBA. He has been a clutch player all throughout his career, and will continue to do so as long as he can.
Villanova faces the winner of North Carolina-Oklahoma (Sunday) in the first round of the Final Four.
Whether it's against Ty Lawson or Blake Griffin, Scottie Reynolds will surely look to overshadow other heroes and be the saviour once again. be sure to check in to that game, and watch for Reynolds' clutch performance.
