Tim Tebow Gets Precious Bro Hug from Tom Rinaldi While Florida Loses Sugar Bowl

Tim Tebow is apparently very huggable in person, because ESPN's Tom Rinaldi couldn't keep his mitts off the New York Jets' backup quarterback.

A tip of the hat to Deadspin and Big Lead Sports, who both reported on a semi-awkward moment featuring one of the gentlest of hugs we have seen.

The two adults were chatting about things when Rinaldi couldn't contain his brewing bro affection for the man who stood inches away yet was as huggable as a man-sized teddy bear.

You know what, screw it. I am going to hug Tim Tebow.

That's what we like to think raced through Rinaldi's head the moment before he extended his left arm to embrace all that is wonderful in this otherwise cold and cynical world.

ZOMG, I totes hugged the Tebow.

That's what we like to think raced through Rinaldi's brain the moment he released all 236 pounds of Tebow from his grasp, only to remember that there was a conversation that needed to continue.

I mean, you may want to rip off your coat and run through the field proclaiming victory after a Tebow embrace, but conventional social mores preclude such action.

Damn, social mores.

There are other moments slightly more precious than this one—unicorns drinking from a babbling brook, Amir Johnson doing something correctly—however, this moment shared between an ESPN reporter and the man ESPN loves to report about was truly heartwarming.

Holler at me on Twitter for more things that are silly yet of high import.
