Louisville-MSU: 2009 Men's NCAA Tournament Midwest Region Elite Eight Picks
Hopefully, you've had a chance to check out our site by now—The Sports Chat Place—where we've been doing college hoops picks against the spread all season.
There are five of us from The Sports Chat Place who also write on B/R: Ryan, Mitch, Dave, Shaun, and Steve. There is a very good chance that, if you have been following college basketball this season (even casually), you have read something by one of us.
During the NCAA Tournament, we have put together a few articles with all of our quick picks against the spread. The idea is that everyone uses the same line and are allowed to put their picks and one to two sentences.

| No. 1 Louisville | 31-5 | 16-2 | 22-13 | 4 | 11 | 74.9 | 61.8 |

| No. 1 Louisville | 45.9 | 39.4 | 36.9 | 30.4 | 64.4 | 40.6 | 9.1 | 17.0 | 13.8 |
Line: Louisville -6.0
Mitch: Michigan State +6.0—Not so sure they get to play in Detroit but 6 points is more than enough.
Dave: Louisville -6.0—Ville plays Big Ten style ball, only better than the actual Big Ten teams.
Ryan: Louisville -6.0—The non-stop full court pressure will force the Spartans into unforced errors.
Shaun: Michigan State +6.0—The Spartans have their eyes set on Detroit and could run over the Cardinals in the process.
Steve: Louisville -6.0—Even though the Spartans play rugged, tough defense, the Cardinals have a plethora of scorers and are relentless on offense. The difference will be Louisville's pressure. Michigan State will feel like the Cardinals have six players on the court.
