Spread: WASHINGTON REDSKINS (+3) over Seattle Seahawks
The location of this game is the most important factor, as the two franchises are located thousands of miles away on opposites coasts.
Since the Seahawks will be flying all the way from Seattle to Maryland for this battle, weโre giving the edge to the home team.
Russell Wilson and the rest of the โHawks have developed into a much more consistent road team over the past few weeks, but we still canโt trust them as much as if this game were being hosted in CenturyLink Field
The โSkins are also phenomenal as an underdog, covering in 77.8 percent of the contests they were involved in.
Much of that has to do with the little respect Robert Griffin III, Alfred Morris and the rest of the underrated Washington squad received early on in the season, but we believe Coach Mike Shanahan will use this to motivate his squad and pick up the win.
Over/Under: Under 46
We love the under in this one.
Both sides certainly know how to score the ballโas weโve seen on numerous occasions over the final weeks of the regular seasonโbut things are going to tighten up in the playoffs.
Neither the โSkins nor โHawks have been here in a while, and both rookie quarterbacks will likely make a mistake or two down in the red zone that will leave easy points on the board.
Not to mention, the Seattle defense is one of the best units in the league, while Washingtonโs continues to improve and features a number of solid veterans.
Itโs going to be a low-scoring, defensive affair, so take the under and cash your ticket on Sunday.
