What A Shocker: Montreal Canadiens Win 2-In-A-Row

Daniel ArouchianMar 27, 2009

The Montreal Canadiens are on a roll…somehow.

Last night, they won their second game in a row.

That's something that Habs fans couldn't have imagined since the firing of head coach, Guy Carbonneau.

Did the Canadiens finally wake up?

If they did, it was about time!

A few days ago, I wrote an article about how the current roster is not playing with all their heart—that same day, the Habs exploded against the New York Rangers.

Did any of the players read my article before the game?

I doubt it, but with the way they've been playing for the last two games, like somebody threaten them.

Closing thoughts

In the old days, the players didn't make millions like the players, now.

Most of them even had jobs to pay bills and support their families.

They played for the love of the game, not for the money they were making.

Trust me: They weren't spoiled millionaires like the players are right now.
