UFC 155 Fight Card: 5 Fights You Can't Miss at UFC 155

Riley KontekJun 6, 2018

UFC 155 is rapidly approaching and it boasts a great card for the end of the year. The UFC heavyweight title is on the line, in addition to other big-time fights.

The card hosts names such as Junior dos Santos, Jim Miller, Alan Belcher, Tim Boetsch, Chris Leben and Melvin Guillard, among others.

Here are five fights you cannot miss come UFC 155.

Max Holloway vs. Leonard Garcia

1 of 5

Where to Watch: Facebook

Although Leonard Garcia and Max Holloway are relegated to the Facebook card, you cannot miss this fight. It is going to be a slugfest.

Holloway is a long, powerful striker who has not even hit his prime yet. Garcia is a wild brawler who consistently puts on the best fights on the card in terms of entertainment (not technique).

If you miss this, you miss out on a potential Fight of the Night contender.

Melvin Guillard vs. Jamie Varner

2 of 5

Where to Watch: FX

This fight between Melvin Guillard and Jamie Varner was supposed to happen at The Ultimate Fighter 16 finale, but it was moved to UFC 155 after Varner got sick.

Both are entertaining fighters who enjoy putting on a show for the crowd. They often stand and bang, looking to take someone's head off.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case here.

Brad Pickett vs. Eddie Wineland

3 of 5

Where to Watch: FX

As one of my picks for Fight of the Night, any way you look at it, Eddie Wineland vs. Brad Pickett is going to be a great bout.

Both men are extremely effective on the feet, as both ended their last fight in a brutal knockout. Both are also solid on the ground, which should be entertaining should the fight go there.

Jim Miller vs. Joe Lauzon

4 of 5

Where to Watch: Pay-per-view

The co-main event of the evening between Joe Lauzon and Jim Miller is a great replacement fight for Gray Maynard vs. Lauzon.

Both men are wizards on the ground, and are both underrated on the feet.

Wherever this fight takes place, it is going to be a barnburner. Miller and Lauzon always come to play, so this should be fantastic.

Junior Dos Santos vs. Cain Velasquez

5 of 5

Where to Watch: Pay-per-view

The main attraction, between UFC heavyweight champ Junior dos Santos and Cain Velasquez, is a must-see—especially after their first encounter last year at this time.

Dos Santos famously knocked out Velasquez with a great right hand. The fight was just over a minute long and shocked fans all over the world (minus myself and a select few).

This rematch must be watched. I have a feeling people all over the world will be ordering to watch this fight.
