Combine that with the fact that the Titans only lose by an average of 7.9 points, and the Packers are a sure bet to win, but not necessarily to cover the spread.

Since Week 8, Tennessee has scored over 20 points just once. Green Bay is practically guaranteed to score that many points, but with the Packersโ D stepping up their game of late, theyโre unlikely to go over 47 points.

Tennessee: RB Chris Johnson
After failing to break the 100-yard rushing barrier in three straight weeks, Johnson rushed for 122 against the New York Jets on Monday Night Football. Of course, 94 of those yards came on one run. But still, it was Johnsonโs third run of at least 80 yards this year proving heโs still one of the NFLโs premier home-run threats.
Green Bayโs run defense is ranked 14th in the NFL so it isnโt horrible, but the Packers arenโt elite either. Johnson could add another flash play or two to his highlight reel.
Green Bay: WR James Jones
Two of Aaron Rodgersโ four favorite receivers are listed as questionable on the injury report this week. Even if both are able to suit up, they wonโt be at full strength.
Enter Jones.
The sixth-year wide out is having the best season of his career, having hauled in 51 receptions for 622 yards and 12 touchdowns. In fact, his 12 TDs give him the most in the NFL.
Against a Titans defense which surrenders the third-most points in the league, Jones will be in position to increase his visits to the end zone.
Keys to a Tennessee Win
For the Titans to pull off a miracle in Green Bay, they must first and foremost control the clock. If Tennessee is able to march down the field with Johnson four yards at a time (I know that isnโt his style, but stay with me), itโll keep the ball out of Rodgersโ hands.
The Titans also must create more flash plays than the Packers (now that is Johnsonโs style). Tennessee isnโt talented enough to surrender huge gains to Green Bay and still compete. It must prevent the Packers from scoring quickly and the Titans must hit a few home runs of their own.
Keys to a Green Bay Win
As long as the Packers donโt turn the football over an alarming amount more than the Titans, and donโt allow the Titans to create those flash plays, theyโll be fine.
Prediction
Green Bay is the superior talent. If it loses, the game will be the upset of the week.
But it wonโt lose.
