Celtics-Magic: Dwight Howard Makes Celtics Disappear
The Orlando Magic have now improved to a record of 53-18, after an outstanding battle against the Boston Celtics.
More importantly, the Magic move to second place in the Eastern Conference.
Game Breakdown:
The Magic took control during the beginning of the game (Howard ended the first quarter with a double-double) and even lead by 16 points at one point during the third quarter.
During the last few minutes of the fourth quarter the Celtics came as close one point from tying the game.
With 1.4 seconds left on the clock (84-82), Boston had an opportunity to win the game, but unfortunately Paul Pierce missed the shot at the end of regulation.
NBA commentator Jeff Van Gundy believed that the Boston Celtics had "out-physicaled" the Orlando Magic during the entire game and deserved to get the 'W.' Great job on creating your own word Jeff! (Maybe that is why your brother is coaching and your stuck commentating his game).
Notes:
Dwight Howard took complete control of this game ending with a total of 24 points, 21 rebounds (ninth 20/20 game this season), 2 assists, 2 steals, and 4 blocks.
Dwight Howard should definitely have his name discussed in the MVP race all throughout the NBA if it has not been already.
Despite Garnett's absence for most of the game, he did not have much of an impact when on the court as he was practically no where to be found during his 16 minutes of action. Clearly KG is not 100 percent. but what can you do? A win is a win.
Opinion:
What can you say now Boston fans? The Magic have moved up on the rankings and push you guys to third place in the East. Good luck facing the Heat in the first round of the playoffs!
Attention! Only comment back if you are a HATER.
