Marvel Unveils New Comic Book: The Mad Genius and His Sidekick, Sir Text-a-Lot
In a post apocalyptic world, one quarterback will be left standing alone. One lone gunslinger with cell phone in hand, feverishly texting anyone who will hear his cries and one Mangenius will stand up and listen.
OK, a bit dramatic but you get the point.
The Cleveland Cavaliers are busy putting together a solid run to the postseason with King James leading the way; the Cleveland Browns are busy mastering the fine art of text messaging with its newest poster child: Brett Favre.

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Eric Mangenius, thank you Jets fans, has stated that he is simply (Favre) being invited as a “guest” and that there is nothing more to it.
Last year, as a Packer fan, I vicariously became accustomed to the whole Favre rearing his head, with his cell phone being the focal point; only a matter of time before the cell phone companies start bidding for a name drop. The problem is, it’s back again.
I lived and breathed No. 4; I relished in his mastery of the pigskin and suffered through his worst outings; I became contented knowing every year, Favre was at the helm, battle tested, a true winner and a proven warrior.
Conversely, like every Packer fan, I suffered threw his addictions, scoffed at his sometimes unthinkable throws and sadly said goodbye to one of the best ever to come to Green Bay.
Now? I cringe at any headline containing the name Favre. I seethe at cell phones and seer at the local reports about any story that encompasses the words: retirement, text messaging and Brett Favre.
What does a fan do to deserve such a sticky situation? Now, one of the most devout football fan base in the sporting world, a fan base that is just as dedicated to their teams as is a lovable puppy slobbering all over your feet waiting to be fed, seems to be the next potential victim in the cross hairs.
Sure, the master could teach the wiz kid of the future a couple of tricks, and yes, the old man can probably fix the woes of the improbable once bench warmer, but something tells me the Madgenius is up to something sinister and diabolical.
What could it be, what could it be?
Cleveland has done little to afford either quarterback a solid receiving corps, let alone a good O-line to block for him, and adding this distraction to the mix is going to muck everything up. This is football not, As the NFL Turns!
But wait, maybe, just maybe, this is a good thing right? Maybe the magical one can in fact contribute to this club. Perhaps, the vast amount of experience stored in his crawl can be of some good use.
Yeah, and re-signing David Patton is going to work out well in the end too right? Stallworth has some serious issues to deal with, Edwards has been speculated to be in trade talks, the new tight end in town, Robert Royal, has eight years on his 6'4" frame and the O-line is about as unreliable as Favre NOT being in NFL news in March.
Favre should be in football, somewhere he can give back and be a constant, but in a POSITIVE manner not as a distraction. Be a coach, a consultant, the water boy, the hot dog vendor guy who says “HOT DOGS HEEAR!” something other than a sad example of what once was great.
Give me YOUR take, where does the community stand on this one? Do you smell a rat? Is something afoot? Or is Cleveland destine to be another victim in the ongoing saga of Favre.
