Julian Peterson: Is He the Lion's Pudge Rodriguez?
Is Julian the Lion's Pudge Rodriguez?
Before the Tigers got Pudge, they were pitiful at best. However, by signing Ivan Rodriguez, the Tigers were one step closer to a World Series that they would eventually lose.
How in the world could one man help to bring a World Series to Detroit?

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
First, by signing Rodriguez, other players didn't mind coming to Detroit because they could play with Rodriguez.
Second, Rodriguez's stellar play and big bat helped the Tiger's ailing line-up.
Lastly, Pudge had previously won a World Series with the Marlins and his experience would help this young team.
So, where are the parallels?
Already, Aaron Curry showed his excitement about coming to Detroit. Curry said, "I just think how much easier my rookie season would be playing between Julian Peterson and Ernie Sims. They'd help me prepare and they'll both play great."
We have no doubt that Peterson can play football. Peterson is a five-time pro bowler. He also has 24 1/2 sacks in the last three years.
Peterson also brings some playoff experience by playing in four playoff games for Seattle and San Francisco.
Really, only time will tell if Peterson is the Lion's Pudge, but so far the Lion's defense is already looking better and defense is what will eventually take this team to the promised land.
