Notes

  • Obviously, the big move is A-Rod due to his injury.  I still couldn’t drop him outside of the top five, however, even with him missing a month of action.  Like I’ve said before, five months of A-Rod will likely result in better production than six months of the majority of other players.
  • I bumped Alex Gordon up a few spots as well because I really do feel strongly that this is the season he finally puts it all together.  It is his third full season in the majors and after being rushed, it is time to put up or shut up.
  • Troy Glaus fell off the list completely, thanks to his injury.  In his place is Mark Reynolds, though that doesn’t say too much.
  • I was going to drop Kevin Kouzmanoff off the list, but a strong spring has helped to bring back some hope.  Maybe this is the season he finally lives up to the hype—I’m not willing to give up on him yet.
