Liverpool's EPL Efforts Are Too Little, Too Late
The English Premier League is coming to a close on its latest season, and it's shaping up to be one that will have fans around the world on the edge of their seats.
Two weekends ago, we saw Liverpool embarass current leader Manchester United at Old Trafford, and most recently thump premiership underachievers, Aston Villa, with an impressive 5-0 victory at Anfield.
There are only another eight league games for Liverpool to play, and its fans believe in the team after it took down Real Madrid in the Champions League, crushed United and Villa in the league and now Liverpool fans are keeping a close eye on the wide-open title race.

What the Red Merseyside faithful have failed to realise is Sir Alex Ferguson's past experience when it comes to this situation.
The long-serving Man Utd. boss isn't going to be losing sleep over a point's difference when his team still has a game in hand at the top.
Benitez is trying to play some sort of mind game with the Scotsman, telling journalists to "ask Mr. Ferguson" in post-match conferences, but what he doesn't know is that he's playing games with the king of mind games.
Another clear mind game occurred when Benitez signied a new contract, keeping him at the club until 2014.
We all know that there's only two really long-serving managers in England, one being Arsene Wenger and the other Sir Alex Ferguson.
With the way things are going now in the Premiership, I personally cannot see the Spaniard lasting much longer at the Liverpool helm. I believe that he's been handed that contract with the club's CEO thinking he's the man to bring home the hardware.
There's still a few weeks left in the race, and a lot can happen between now and then, but everybody in the world knows that Liverpool's attempts are just too little too late.
