A Letter to Jay Cutler

Dear Jay,

I've noticed that you have seemed to be unhappy a lot lately. It also seems like you would've been a lot happier had the Broncos not fired your favorite head coach, Mike Shanahan.

But you can turn this into something good.

You can use this season to prove that you are good enough to be the starting quarterback for the Broncos. That's what a real man would do, not run off to some other quarterback-poor team in tears.

Think about Drew Brees. The Chargers drafted Phillip Rivers as a replacement for Brees,and rather than begging to be traded, he stuck in there and was actually having a pretty good season until he got that shoulder injury.

Be honest, do you really want to play in Minnesota, Detroit, San Francisco, or any of those other teams that seem to falling over one another to sign you?

The Broncos could be a Super Bowl team soon, and with you at the helm, it will come all the quicker. It's going to take a while for the Lions to get up to that standard.

Think about it.
