Florida Gators Football: 2010 Mock Class

Alex HancockMar 23, 2009

Now, I know that National Signing Day is almost a year away, and that plenty of things could happen.

But as of now, things are looking great for Urban Meyer and his staff as they are in the process of putting together a monster 2010 class.

After what some have called a mildly-disappointing '09 class—personally, I don't agree; Andre Debose and Jelani Jenkins are going to be Gator legends—Meyer and his staff have already reeled in eight commitments.

This has never been done before under Meyer this early. As a matter of fact, the Gators might already have the mythical recruiting national championship in the bag.

Thats the great thing about being a powerhouse program—you don't ever have to rebuild, you just reload.

I'm not an insider or anything, but this is my guess on how the 2010 class will end up:

QB: Trey Burton (Verbal)

RB: Mack Brown, Corey Brown

WR: Justin McCay, Kadron Boone, Chris Dunkley

TE: Michael McFarland(Verbal)

O Line: Ian Silberman (Verbal), James Hurst, Brent Benedict, Chaz Green

DT: Louis Nix, Leon Orr(Verbal)

DE: Corey Lemonier, B.J. Butler, Delvin Jones

LB: Gideon Ajagbe, Gerald Christian, Christian Jones

CB: Victor Hampton(Verbal), Demar Dosey(Verbal), Jaylen Watkins,

S: Matt Elam(Verbal), Jonathan Dowling(Verbal), Jordan Haden

Now thats 25 commits, looking to be another great class by Urban Meyer. Thanks for reading, and please tell me what you think.
