If you were hoping for a quick resolution to the Greg McElroy version of the New York Jets quarterback controversy, you're out of luck, for now at least.

Rex Ryan addressed the media on Monday, and the reporters came armed and ready with a barrage of questions pertaining to Rex's mentality on the situation. The volume and variety of questions really has to be seen to be believed.

Here's just a small sampling of what Rex had to say:

"

Well, I think right now, I definitely need a little more time to make that decision. Iโ€™m comfortable and confident with all three quarterbacks. ... I have three good quarterbacks and I feel good about all three quarterbacks. I think weโ€™re in a lot better situation than probably a lot of teams. ...ย I just thought at the time, it was the right move, that sometimes you have better days than others and itโ€™s just something I felt needed to be done and gave our team the best opportunity to win. ...ย I just want to make sure that I get all of the facts and everything else. Itโ€™s a big decision. Obviously, the decision, I think, has to be made in what gives us the best opportunity to beat Jacksonville.

"

At the end of the interview, Rex alluded that he could have a decision as early as Tuesday night, which means we probably wouldn't know the answer until his Wednesday morning press conference.
