Rob Van Dam Talks About Returning to Wrestling Full-Time!
If you saw the 2009 WWE Royal Rumble, you saw Rob Van Dam make a special appearance in the Royal Rumble match. He came in towards the end, but showed us why we always loved to watch him.
Which got people wondering, would he return full-time? At the time he was asked, he really didn't say much. And word has it he said he was not returning right now.
So people again speculated, because he never game a full fledged answer. Yes or no, RVD? Maybe we would get an answer this time in an interview with BE! Magazine. This is a snippet of the interview:

“I miss showing off in the ring in front of thousands of people, but not enough to trade in my life at home for it, yet.
"It’s the non-stop travel that I’ve had enough of in the last 19 years or so. Still, I know I could come back and go straight to the top any day I wanted, and there’s a lot of contentment in that.”
I have to think he is playing our minds again here. When he says "Yet" is makes you think, will he return?
I have to say it won't happen, and for more than 1 reason. First off he left because of his wife. She is still not in the best shape, and RVD is not going to go on the road knowing that.
He also is wrong about going straight to the top if he returned. He thinks he can come in because of his popularity and take over like he did before. Which will not happen.
While he has been gone, we have seen new superstars in the WWE. People like Kofi Kingston, Jack Swagger, Evan Bourne, Tyson Kidd, and others have entered the WWE after he left.
All are getting a push by the WWE, heck even Christian has come back now. Which means he will not get a push to the top while other young stars are getting one. This is not TNA RVD!
Go to TNA, and you are bound to go to the top because of popularity. In the WWE, that will not happen. Why? Because Vince McMahon knows the future is not in RVD.
Sure if he came back right now, RVD would be around another five years...maybe. That is without injury and breaks he will take. So, that means in my eyes he will not return to the WWE full-time.
Maybe when they come to Michigan he will make appearances, since he does live in Battle Creek. I am not an RVD hater, I love watching him when he wrestles. But he really does not need to be so cocky.
Heck, Evan Bourne is considered the next Rey Mysterio/RVD. With that said, the WWE does not need RVD since they have Bourne.
I personally think we will see RVD again, just not full-time. Sorry to say.
