The Rise Of a New Nation
It seems as if a new tradition has started in the WWE. From 2002 through now, the No. 1 wresting promotion has looked to its past to build towards the future.
What do I mean by this?
Why old stables or re-incarnations of old stables making returns to the squared circle. The nWo was brought in, Evolution (a re-incarnation of the Four Horsemen) made its rounds, and D-Generation X had several last rides.

I think one more group warrants a return to the squared circle.
The Nation of Domination.
This group was perhaps one of the greatest stables in wrestling history. With their feuds with DX, Steve Austin, and eventually with each other, they helped shape the Attitude Era.
This group led to countless stars being born, from Faarooq to The Rock, and all of them added a bit of history to the WWE.
Now I know that most of the members of the old group have since been released or on other endeavours, but there is plenty of talent on the current roster than can be used to create the new group. In fact, I have a few in mind.
I present to you, the new Nation of Domination:
Montel Vontavious Porter: He's brash, arrogant, charismatic, and a hell of a wrestling talent. He's the perfect candidate to be the leader of the new Nation.
With Porter, they wouldn't need a mouthpiece to speak for the group and he'd be seamless in the leader role. His character is already outspoken and overconfident, so he wouldn't need a dramatic change either.
Shelton Benjamin: Talented and constantly held down. The perfect lieutenant in the Nation army. This will help Shelton develop a deeper heel persona, gain more attention to his ability, and get Shelton the push he deserves.
Mark Henry: A former member of the Nation, he would serve as a valuable asset. Plus, he'd be the muscle for Porter. He'll play an important role in the group and still get serious face time.
Chris Jericho: Off the wall pick, yes, but it makes sense in the same scheme. He'd be the Owen Hart character in the group. Sick of being berated for his beliefs so he joins a group with similar beliefs as him. He'd be a pseudo-leader of the group.
Cryme Tyme: Every good Nation stable had a tag-team, whether it was PG-13, or D'Lo and Mark Henry. Cryme Tyme are in desperate need of a jump start and including them in the Nation would be that jolt. A change in gimmick and alignment would be imminent, but would definitely help and put them back in the tag team game.
There are many ways for this group to be brought together. Sick of being held down and under-appreciated, so they banned together to become a dominant force in the WWE. Hey, that sounds pretty good actually.
This will probably never happen, but it's something that I'd love to see and hopefully the boys in Stamford will take it into consideration.
Question of the Day: Which group would you like to see return and who would you include in it?
