Moves Raiders Should Make In The Draft

Jason SimmonsCorrespondent IMarch 21, 2009

This would be a perfect situation for the Raiders:

-Sign Torry Holt or Marvin Harrison to a short-term deal.

-Get Mike Mckenzie out of free agency and move him to safety.

-Trade a fourth-round pick for Shaun Rogers to help Tommy Kelly out.

-Get Crabtree or Maclin with the seventh pick in the draft. (If you really believe Al is gonna trade down keep dreamin!)

-Trade Fargas for an early second-round pick

-Get centers Unger/Mack with one of the second-round picks. Or you could possibly select Ron Brace to help the defensive line.

-Get the guard Herman Johnson with the other second-round pick, if you don't know who he is. He's the largest newborn baby in Louisiana at 16.5 Lbs. Now he's at a healthy 6'7" and 356 Lbs (not even fat). He could open gaping holes for the beasts D-mac and the Bushman in the backfield.

-Get Jasper Brinkley at MLB in round three.

-Then draft Ramses Barden in the fourth round, the wide receiver from a small school who played great against larger schools.

-Then get defensive end Brandon Williams from Texas Tech, one of the more athletic D-ends in the combine.

-And Finally, Al will get his speedy defensive back with Josh Barrett from ASU. At the combine he ran a 4.36, and he's 6'3" at 223 Lbs.

That would be perfect...
