AC Milan: No Swap Deal for Mario Balotelli
1 of 5AC Milan will not swap forward Alexandre Pato for Manchester City's Mario Balotelli, according to club president Silvio Berlusconi (via Sky Sports).
Reports have linked the two clubs with a swap deal. Berlusconi is thought to be a long-time admirer of Balotelli, who formerly played for Inter Milan.
Berlusconi said:
"An exchange involving Pato and Balotelli? I don't like exchanges. Pato is definitely not on the market. He is one of our best players and has the opportunity to become an icon here over many years.
Unfortunately, his frequent injuries have been a problem, but we just need to handle him right. AC Milan is the perfect setting for him.
"
Harry Redknapp Refuses to Rule out Move for David Beckham
2 of 5New Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has declined to rule out a move for David Beckham in the January transfer window (via Daily Mail).
Redknapp took over as QPR manager for Saturday's loss at Manchester United. Rangers sit at the bottom of the table after a poor start under former manager Mark Hughes.
Beckham recently announced that Saturday's MLS Cup final will be his last match with the Los Angeles Galaxy. The former England captain played for Manchester United from 1993 to 2003.
Andrey Arshavin Heading Back to Zenit?
3 of 5Zenit St. Petersburg could re-sign forward Andrey Arshavin for £3 million in January, according to Metro.
Arshavin, 31, left Zenit for Arsenal in 2009 for a reported £12 million. He reportedly makes £90,000 a week despite not holding a regular starting spot in the team.
Zenit would reportedly offer Arshavin a two-and-a-half-year contract.
FA to Investigate West Ham Chanting
4 of 5The English Football Association is set to investigate reported anti-Semitic chanting by West Ham United supporters toward Tottenham Hotspur fans during the Premier League match between the teams on Saturday at White Hart Lane (via The Guardian).
West Ham fans reportedly mocked Jews being gassed in the Holocaust and chanted about Adolf Hitler during the match. Spurs won 3-1.
It was the second time in less than a week that Tottenham had reportedly heard anti-Semitic chanting. Lazio supporters reportedly did the same during last week's Europa League match between the teams in Rome (via Daily Telegraph).
Report: Radamel Falcao Not Leaving Atletico Madrid in January
5 of 5Radamel Falcao will not leave Atletico Madrid in January, according to a prominent Portuguese agent (via Marca).
Falcao, a 26-year-old Colombian international forward, has been linked with several clubs throughout Europe and is thought to be available for transfer either in January or next summer.
Agent Jorge Mendes reportedly said no deal will happen in January. Marca quotes former Atletico player Paulo Futre, who reportedly had a conversation with Mendes recently.
Mendes reportedly said: "You're mad Paulo, they're just rumours. Radamel isn't leaving Atlético. It'd be impossible for him to leave in January."
