PSG Planning January Bid for Mario Balotelli?

1 of 5

According to Goal.com, Paris Saint-Germain are planning a January bid for Mario Balotelli, who is out of favor at Manchester City.

Balotelli, a 22-year-old Italy international forward, was not part of City's squad for the 5-0 Premier League victory over Aston Villa on Saturday. He also missed the squad for last weekend's win over Tottenham after making news for a reportedly poor attitude in practice sessions.

Balotelli joined City from Inter Milan in 2010. City manager Roberto Mancini reportedly wants to keep Balotelli, but might be willing to sell if it means City could bid for Colombian forward Radamel Falcao of Atletico Madrid.

The Uruguayan joined Liverpool from Ajax in 2011 and signed a new contract over the summer.

Meanwhile, The Mirror also reports that Chelsea believe they can bring Suarez to Stamford Bridge if Pep Guardiola becomes the club's next manager.

Guardiola, 41, previously managed Barcelona, but is currently unemployed. Roberto Di Matteo is in his first full season as Chelsea's full-time manager.

Meanwhile, United are also being linked with Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels and Bayer Leverkusen forward Lars Bender (via Daily Mirror). Both players are valued around £25 million.

Finally, The Daily Telegraph has quoted Ferguson as saying he "would like to think" he could re-sign Cristiano Ronaldo, but that the Portuguese superstar is "unbuyable."

Ronaldo, 27, joined Real Madrid from Manchester United in 2009 in a record £80 million transfer. He returns to Manchester this week to play Manchester City in the Champions League.
