Zach Mettenberger Injury: Latest Updates on LSU QB
With LSU trailing Ole Miss while trying to keep itself relevant in the national championship picture, they lost star quarterback Zach Mettenberg for at least a play due to injury.
UPDATE: Saturday, Nov. 17 at 7:08 p.m. ET by Richard Langford
With the score knotted at 35, LSU tweeted out this far more positive update.
"3 and out for Ole Miss. LSU takes over at the Tiger 33. Mettenberger back at QB. 7:53 left. #LSURoar

So get ready for a big finish.
---end of update---
LSU tweeted out the news.
"Mettenberger was shaken up on the play, so Stephen Rivers will line up at QB on 3rd and 5. #LSURoar
— LSU Football (@LSUfball) November 17, 2012"
As I type, the Tigers are trailing Ole Miss 35-28 in the fourth. After two outstanding weeks, Mettenberger was not playing his best football. He has 230 yards passing, but he has two interceptions and no touchdowns.
