Rumors

Todd Bodine and Germain Racing will be racing at Martinsville, as the No. 30 will have Whelen on board as primary sponsor.

Gabi DiCarlo and Stringer Motorsports have shifted gears back to the ARCA Re/Max Series, as she's scheduled to race in the Arca Re/Max Carolina 200 at the historic  Rockingham Speedway on April 19th.

Johnny Benson is going Hollywood, he'll be competing in the Toyota Pro/celebrity Race, part of the 35th annual Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, on April 18th.

Jesus Hernadez is looking too run a partial Camping World Truck Series or Nationwide Series schedule or run the entire Camping World East Series schedule in 2009.

He's one of NASCAR's most successful participants and graduates of the Drive for diversity program.

He has talked to some sponsors, but hasn't solidified anything and still looking for opportunities in 2009 to race.

Congrats to David and Kim Starr on the birth of their son, David Starr Jr., born on March 12th.

Speedtv has announced the series continues double digit Nielsen Ratings growth. At Atlanta Motor Speedway the race broadcast, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series scored a Nielsen Household rating of 1.29 (943,000 households), peaked at 1.63 (1,197,000 households), and Daytona broadcast rating was up 21% from last year.

Hornaday's Corner

Here's some milestones feats from Horn's legendary career in the Camping World Truck Series and sure he'll be adding more to these.

Sept. 8, 1996 - Horn's New Hampshire International Speedway, victory makes him the first in the series to win on a short track, a road course and a super speedway track in a single season.

Nov. 16, 1996 - Horn wins his first championship in trucks and it's also Dale Earnhardt Inc. first championship.

July 25, 1998 - Trucks adapts a "live" pit stop format for most tracks. The Tempus Resorts 300K, at Pikes Peak International Raceway is the first event run under format and is won by Horn.

Nov. 8, 1998 - Horn becomes the series, first two-time Champion, beats out Jack Sprague by three points and it's the closest points margin in history.

March 27, 1999 - Horn becomes the first driver to win in all five seasons of the series, when he wins the Chevy trucks NASCAR 150 at Phoenix.

April 3, 1999 - Horn wins the series 100th race, at Evergreen Speedway near Seattle.

June 1, 2007 - Horn wins the series 300th race at Dover International Speedway.

Nov. 19, 2007 - Horn becomes the third driver to win, a series championship that didn't hold the points lead entering the seasons final race. Plus he joins Jack Sprague as a three-time Champion.
