ECW: A New Era of Extreme (Week Seven)

Now that the shout-outs are all set and done, let the Extreme Night of ECW begin!

The show opens with a video recap of Teddy Long announcing the all new ECW Extreme Hall of Fame. It then shows Jack Swagger interrupting Teddy Long and Terry Funk. Mr. Swagger puts Long through a table and just dismantles Funk. The video then fades to black.

All of a sudden it shows the heated promo between Katie and Swagger. Swagger costs Katie her match against Boogeyman and then teases a Tommy Dreamer entrance. The video recap ends with Finlay knocking the hell out of Swagger with the shillelagh.

The opening video and theme plays. The pyros go off.

We are then welcomed by Todd Grisham and Matt Striker.

Striker: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to another exciting night of ECW! I'm your host for this evening, Matt Striker. Unfortunately for all of our home viewers and myself, we will be annoyed again this week by the geeky little voice of my broadcast partner, Todd Grisham.

Todd: I'm just going to ignore that little remark made by such a weak human being such as yourself, but you are correct in saying that tonight we will have a huge main event as the returning Mark Henry who will take on Finlay with Paul Burchill as the Special Guest Referee!

Not only do we have that match for tonight, but word from the WWE Headquarters is that tonight we will have a new General Manager and that we will find out who our second Extreme Hall Of Famer will be tonight!

Striker: That's right Todd, but if you call me weak again, I'm going to take your slammy trophy and shove it down your throat!

(All of a sudden Jack Swagger's theme hits and he strolls down to the ring in street clothes and with his title at hand.)

Swagger: Thank you. Thank you so much for that warm reception. But I need all of you to just calm down and save all of your love for...TEAM SWAGGER!!!

(Team Swagger's theme hits and it's "Hunt You Down" by Saliva.)

Swagger: Welcome back men! As you can clearly see, things around here has changed big time! Teddy Long has been broken and is no longer the ECW General Manager! Right now Tiffany has all of the power and I have her completely under my control.

(Burchill and Henry laugh and start clapping about the news.)

(All of a sudden Katie Lea's theme hits and she comes out with a smile on her face.)

Swagger: Okay listen and listen good you little whore! I am the ECW Champion! These two men with me are the greatest and most feared athletes in the entire world! You? You're nothing more than a little slut trying your best to tarnish Team Swagger and sleep your way to the top!

(Katie just smiles away and claps.)

Katie: Nicely done, sir. For a small second, you almost had me and the rest of these ECW fans believing your every word. My boyfriend so wants to be here, but until the right time comes, you will just have to deal with me.

What wrong Swagger? You seem to look frightened by something. Are you afraid of who my man might be? You should be. All of your little fags you call friends can't even compare to the man that he is.

Swagger: You know what? Screw you and your man! You had better get to your point of coming out here tonight or I....

Katie: What? What the hell do you plan on doing about it? Absolutely nothing! The fact of the matter is, at Wrestlemania just 26 days away, you will defend your title against a man that has been begging to get a piece of you for a long time.

Now don't get too frightened, Its not Tommy Dreamer, but just know that he has held more titles than all three of you put together. The match itself should cause you fear though. Its going to be defended inside the EXTREME STEEL CAGE!!!

Swagger: Haha! That's pretty funny Katie. For a small second, I thought you ran the show. Have you forgotten that ECW now belongs to Team Swagger?! We own this place and our next target is the whole damn company!

Katie: That's strange, because I thought that ECW belonged to our new General Manager?

(Katie steps aside and signals to the entrance way. Paul Heyman's theme hits and he slowly comes out and shakes Katie's hand. The crowd is going nuts and Swagger has dropped to his knees. The camera then shows Heyman's face as he is smiling and we cut to commercial.)

We return with a small recap of what just happened.

Chimel: The following bout is a tag-team match and its scheduled for one fall. On their way to the ring, at a combined weight of 450 pounds, John Morrison and The Miz!

Morrison and Miz make their way to the ring, but Miz has a microphone at hand.

Miz: Ladies and jerkoffs, you are looking at the Shaman of Sexy, The King of the Palace of Wisdom, and the greatest tag-team partner of all time, John Morrison! You are looking at The Chick Magnet, The Ladies Man, and the greatest Slammy award winner of all time, The Miz! WE ARE READY FOR WRESTLEMANIA! How about you?

Chimel: And their opponents...

R-Truth theme hits and he dances through the crowd on his way to the ring. And Helms dances his way to the ring from the entrance. A very funny sight as these two Smackdown Superstars have just qualified for the Money In The Bank match.

Interpromotional Tag Team Match

The Miz and John Morrison vs R-Truth and Hurricane Helms

Miz and Helms looks to be starting the match off. Both men lock up and the Miz seems to have the control as he locks Helms up inside a headlock. Helms pushes Miz off of the ropes and Miz comes back and knocks him down with a shoulder block.

Miz runs off of the ropes and jumps over the downed Helms and bounces off of the opposite side of the ropes. Helms kicks himself up and clotheslines the Miz pretty hard. Miz is down and rolls to the outside of the ring to nurse his injuries.

Morrison comes off of the apron and checks on the downed MIz on the outside. R-Truth gets into the ring and looks at Miz and Morrison on the outside and then he looks back at Helms.

They both bounce off of the ropes and hits double suicide dives from the inside of the ring onto Miz and Morrison. R-Truth and Helms hype up the live audience as we cut to commercial.

We return with Miz in control of Helms as he has a surfboard stretch locked in. R-Truth is trying to get the crowd behind Helms as he tries to power his way out of the maneuver. Helms fights his way back up to his feet and reverses the lock into and reverse ddt.

He covers Miz. 1..2.. he just barely kicks out. Helms then goes on the offensive and puts on a dragon sleeper as the Miz slowly starts to fade away.

Morrison begins to distract the ref and Helms releases the hold to go over to Morrison. Miz slowly gets up and chop blocks the back of Helms right knee. Miz grabs him by his head and drags him to the middle of the ring and hits a knee drop on the head of Helms.

He goe sfor the cover. 1..2.. Helms kicks out and the Miz begins to get frustrated. He gets Helms’ right leg and stomps on it a few times. He then pulls Helms by his knee to Morrison. He makes the tag and Morrison jumps over the top rope and lands a huge elbow drop on the knee of Helms.

Morrison then poses for a while and then goes back to work on Helms’ knee for a while.

R-Truth looks pretty hyped up as he desperately wants in to this match. Morrison gets Helms up and throws him into an empty corner. Morrison goes to the opposite corner and charges straight forward and tries to hit a flying splash into the corner, but Helms moves out of the way.

Morrison backs away looking dazed right into a jumping enziguri by Helms. Both men are down and the ref begins the count. 1..2..3..4..5..6 Morrison makes it to his corner first and makes the tag.

Helms sees it and makes a final desperate dive forward as he gets the hot tag into R-Truth.

R-Truth gets into the ring hyped up and hits a clothesline onto Miz and then delivers one to Morrison. He then throws the Miz into a empty corner. He then throws Morrison into the opposite corner.

He hits a huge splash onto Miz and then gives an even bigger one to Morrison. Morrison falls and rolls to the outside. Miz slowly stumbles out and walks right into a big time jumping spinning lariat from R-Truth. R-Truth then dances around for a quick while as Miz regains his composer.

Miz charges forward to R-Truth, but R-Truth ducks the shot and kicks Miz in the sternum. He tries to go for the scissors kick, but Morrison climbs onto the apron and kicks R-Truth in the back of his head as he bounced off of the ropes.

R-Truth stumbled towards the Miz who hits the “Mizard of Oz.” He goes for the cover. 1..2.. Helms comes in out of nowhere and breaks up the pin. Morrison gets him up and tries to hit the moonlight drive, but Helms reverses it into a ddt.

Miz gets up and runs straight to Helms, but Helms kicks him in the sternum and hits a huge shining wizard. He pulls R-Truth on top of Miz for the pin. Morrison gets on the top rope, but Helms hits him with a jumping shining wizard and knocks him down to the floor. 1-2-3!

Its over! Hurricane Helms and R-Truth has just upset the Miz and John Morrison!

(The camera then cuts from the ring and goes to Paul Heyman’s office.)

Team Swagger minus Jack Swagger enters into the office.

Henry: You wanted to see us Paul?

Heyman: Yes Mark. In fact I did. You know your little main-event match that you all had planned for tonight?

Henry: What about it?

Heyman: Well, I scrapped that match and made a whole new main event matchup for tonight that doesn’t involve either of you two dimwits. But it does involve Finlay and your little leader, Jack Swagger. Tonight is now a triple-threat match with the third man being Ricky Ortiz, for he has a bone to pick with Swagger.

Ever since last week, he’s been steaming to get some revenge for last week's extreme handicap match, but you two wont be left out because during that match.

If you two decide to interfere in that match tonight, then all three of you including Swagger will be banished from the WWE forever, and Swagger himself will be stripped of the ECW Heavyweight Title.

Henry: Swagger won’t care about facing either of those guys tonight, in fact, he wants a piece of Finlay tonight anyway! Don’t worry Paul Gay-Man, we won’t interfere in that match tonight. Ha-ha! But you will be surprised of the out come of your so-called main event! Goodluck… you’re gonna need it more than Swagger.

We go to commercial.

(We return with Paul Heyman standing in the ring with a huge smile on his face.)

Heyman: Ladies and gentlemen, I hope you’ve enjoyed ECW so far, because I’m going to beef it up even more! My ECW people, tonight’s main event match is now an Extreme Rules Triple Threat Match! And not only that, but I will be the special guest referee!

(The crowd has jumped to their feet as Swagger seems to be in for it tonight,)

Heyman: Now before we get to the destruction of a man who tried to take over my show, we will reveal our next Extreme Hall of Famer! Ladies and gentlemen, I give to you...ECW Original the Sandman!

(Sandman’s music hits, but no one comes out! Paul Heyman announces Sandman again, but still no one comes out.)

Heyman: Okay what’s going on? I greeted Sandman myself when he arrived here earlier! W…

(Swagger’s face pops up on the titantron and he is laughing sadistically.)

Swagger: Heyman! Wow man it's good to see you again sir! Oh yea, your mic won't be working for a while, so shut up and listen to the champ! Last week, I took out Teddy Long and Terry Funk with my own two hands.

Do you actually think that I would let another ECW Hall of Famer be named tonight on my show? No! But you are correct in saying that the Sandman is here tonight, but he isn’t in good shape ya know? Take a look at this and let me know what you think of my job. Roll the footage boys!

(The camera cuts to a security camera inside of the lockerroom. Sandman enters and then gets attacked by all three members of Team Swagger. They left him a bloody mess. Swagger re-enters the lockerroom and stomps on Sandman. He then gets him by the legs and drags him out of the room.)

The video ends. Swagger is on the titantron and he tells the camera man to show the beaten down Sandman who is laying face down on the floor.

Swagger: Do you see what happens when you defy my order?! You have got one more chance to prove yourself worthy of that General Manager position, and if you don’t give me what I want right now, you can expect that you are next!

Heyman: Swagger, you can threaten me all you want, but the fact still remains that this is my show! I started ECW, and I will keep it under my control. So do what you want, but I can guarantee you that at Wrestlemania 25, you will lose that ECW Heavyweight Title.

(All of a sudden Swagger’s face disappears and the screen starts to malfunction. Swagger, Henry, and Burchill all enters the ring behind Heyman and attacks him. They being to viciously beat him down.

Finlay runs out, but to no avail. Ortiz tries to come and help, but he gets beat down also. All of a sudden Tommy Dreamer runs out with a Flaming Barbed Wired wrapped bat and cleans house. Team Swagger escapes unharmed and Tommy Dreamer looks furious.)

Swagger goes to the top of the ramp and poses with the ECW title and Team Swagger.

The Show Ends.
