My Bracket Breakdown: West Regional

Another day, another bracket.

Here goes...

Round 1

1 UConn vs. 16 Chattanooga - The Mocs hold a dear place in my heart, but the Hokies are primed and ready to rip them and my heart. UConn wins.

8 BYU vs. 9 Texas A&M - Not at all impressed with A&M's schedule/results. BYU wins.

5 Purdue vs. Northern Iowa - Purdue could get beat, but I like them to really make some noise. Purdue wins.

4 Washington vs. Mississippi State - The Bulldogs looked great against UT Sunday. Washington wins though.

6 Marquette vs. 11 Utah State - Marquette stumbled greatly down the stretch. Utah State wins.

3 Missouri vs. 14 Cornell - Mizzou wins.

7 California vs. 10 Maryland - Cal beats a mediocre Terps team.

2 Memphis vs. Cal State Northridge - Memphis wins.

Round 2

UConn vs. BYU - UConn defeats the Cougars.

Purdue vs. Mississippi State - Purdue gets to the Sweet 16.

Utah State vs. Missouri - Not impressed with Mizzou. Utah State wins.

California vs. Memphis - California pulls the upset!!! Memphis is overrated.

Sweet 16

UConn vs. Purdue - Purdue's guards take advantage of Jerome Dyson's absence. Boilermakers win a shocker!

Utah State vs. California - Utah State is underrated. I like them as this year's Davidson. Advancing to the Elite 8. 

Elite 8

Purdue vs. Utah State - How's this for a regional final? Purdue advances to the Final Four. (Hey I never claimed to be an expert.)
