When WWE Raw rolls into Columbus on Monday night, the excitement for the show will only be matched by the genuine glee from seeing color-commentator Jerry “The King” Lawler back at the announcers' table.
There will be a general buzz around this Raw —especially considering it's the go-home edition before Sunday’s Survivor Series—and the WWE will put on one of the best episodes of 2012.
With so many loose ends regarding booking and storylines, and almost an entire midcard left to construct, the WWE still has a lot of work to do Monday night.
Raw will be a fast-paced ride that both hardcore and casual fans won’t want to miss!
Where: Nationwide Arena, Columbus, OH
When: Monday, Nov. 12 at 8 p.m. ET
Watch: USA Network
UPDATE: Monday, November 12, 3:40 p.m. ET by Donald Wood
According to WWE.com, the main event for tonight’s go-home edition of Raw has been set; it will be John Cena versus CM Punk. With just six days before Survivor Series, the questions surrounding why this match is happening now will hopefully be answered Monday night.
Donny’s Take: If it is Cena scheduled to take the loss Sunday at Survivor Series, what better way to ease that blow to his reputation by giving him the win on Raw and having Punk retain via dirty pin at the PPV. This should be interesting.

Jerry Lawler Returns to Raw !
After two months away from the WWE recovering from a heart attack suffered on-air, Jerry “The King” Lawler returns to Raw as the color commentator next to Michael Cole.
Question on Everyone’s Mind: No questions, just glad to have Lawler back healthy!
Even if you weren’t a fan of the character Lawler portrayed on TV—most recently as the "face" color guy to Cole’s "heel" play-by-play role—the fact that the man overcame a near-fatal heart attack to return two months later is amazing.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 "Long live the king!" chants
There is no doubt that the biggest pop of the night will not be for John Cena, CM Punk or anyone else besides the WWE Hall of Famer and his return to the company. With so much publicity surrounding such a scary situation, the anticipation for his return will make this one of the most memorable episodes in history.

Foley’s Final Friend
After the anti-climatic changes that devalued the Survivor Series match—mainly the removal of the match’s top two superstars, Ryback and CM Punk—it is now up to Mick Foley to find the fifth member of his team.
Question on Everyone’s Mind: Who will Foley select?
As we can see from the PPV poster and his actions towards Paul Heyman when he quit the heel team, the answer is The Miz. With WWE finally giving the former WWE champion the push back to the main event as a face, Miz will have the chance to show what he’s made of.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 smart booking decisions
The Miz is flat-out one of the best mic workers in all of wrestling, and his in-ring skill is light-years ahead of what it was when he was main-eventing WrestleMania. With a new appreciation for the business, it appears Miz is getting a well-deserved push back to the top.

Brad Maddox’s $1 Million Challenge
After costing Ryback his title match at Hell in a Cell, Vince McMahon has scheduled a match between referee Brad Maddox and Ryback, with a $1 million contract on the line if Maddox were to win.
Question on Everyone’s Mind: Will this be the last time we see Maddox in WWE?
There has been speculation that Maddox may have some long-term involvement with this storyline, but the truth appears to be that the company just wants to wrap up this loose end and fill time on the go-home edition of Raw .
Hype Meter: 2 out of 5 miracle wins
In WWE, the mantra remains "never say never" when it comes to the outcome of the matches, but this looks like an obvious ending. A Ryback win isn’t just clear because he is so much bigger; there is simply no reason to let Maddox win. This will be a glorified Ryback squash match to make him look strong leading into Survivor Series.

Vickie Guerrero Has More Evidence
In yet another chapter of what has gone on far too long, it appears Vickie Guerrero has even more fabricated evidence of an AJ/Cena affair to present to the world this Monday on Raw . After three weeks of this, the new evidence better be good.
Question on Everyone’s Mind: Why isn’t John Cena focused on the WWE title?
Cena is scheduled for a WWE title match at Survivor Series, yet will be stuck in this meaningless storyline with AJ and Vickie. While it is a perfect way to claim that Cena was distracted and let him take the loss in the three-way bout on Sunday, this storyline must cease to exist.
Hype Meter: 1 out of 5 STFUs to Vickie Guerrero
There is no question that Guerrero is the biggest heel in the WWE right now, but this storyline is not doing anyone any favors. Instead of allowing Cena’s involvement to continue, the WWE should just focus this angle on AJ and Vickie and build the women’s rift along the way.
