I'm Afraid of What Bruton Smith Is Going To Do to New Hampshire

Boy, if a picture speaks 1,000 words! A little butt kissing to NASCAR by Mr. Smith? He wants this and that and this for his tracks; the hell with tradition.

Talk about a man that wants what he wants and not what is best for the sport. He buys tracks and closes them down (i.e. The Rock) to give dates to his tracks.

To me, he's a bully and one greedy little guy. It's all about him and His Tracks, every year since '92 I've gotten a hand-signed Christmas card from the Barres, and this year, since Mr. Smith bought the track, all I got was Ordering forms for the two cup races instead of my usual card of thanks at Christmas.

Here in Maine, during the race, they are begging us to buy tickets with a buy-now pay-later scheme. I don't know what it is, but after all the crying and bitching about how he wants the last race somewhere other than Miami/Homestead saying it should be at one of his tracks, like Vegas or another one of his tracks.

NASCAR tells the teams they can't own more that four cars per team. Well I think they should also regulate how many tracks one man/company can own as well. Of course, Mr. Smith wouldn't agree, but he seems so money/track hungry that I believe he may be the reason for some of the ticket and concessions huge prices.

It's all about him yet, the hell with the fans that are/were loyal to a track near them.

I boycotted NH last year because I can't stand that man and his bully ways. To him, it's the money instead of the love for the sport. Yeah, I'll go back because I love being at the track, but I won't buy anything that is going to put money in his pockets.

I'm really worried he's going to take a date from NH, even though it's always been a sellout with the Barre's running the show.

I know I'm not the only one that is hating that man for all his greed. Sorry Mr. Smith, but it's not all about you; you seem to have forgotten the fans with your greed. Good luck messing up the traditions only to benefit your your BOTTOM line, I'm sure I'm not the only one that is starting to hate you...
