Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers Preview and Predictions

Michael Schottey@SchotteyNFL National Lead WriterNovember 12, 2012

Two teams fighting for relevance in the NFC South face off in Week 11, as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers head to Carolina to take on the Panthers.

The Buccaneers (5-4) are on a roll, winning four of their last five. Doug "Don't Call Me Muscle Hamster" Martin has been tremendous and has helped provide a spark that the Buccaneers offense has been missing for the better part of a decade. Don't discount Josh Freeman, however, who has thrived with the additions of Vincent Jackson and Dallas Clark.

The Panthers (2-7) where supposed to be improved in Cam Newton's second season but have faltered instead. While much of the storylines have centered around Newton, Steve Smith calling Newton out and the towel on Newton's head, the rest of the team has languished as well. The defense, especially, has underperformed even though Ron Rivera is considered a defensive mastermind.

So which of these young teams wins in Week 11? Check out our thoughts in the video above, and give us your predictions in the comments below.
