My Bracket Breakdown: Midwest Region
After years of futility in picking the NCAA Men's Tournament Final Four, I have decided to take a different approach.
This year instead of doing the whole thing at once I have decided to take a day-by-day approach to the brackets.
I will begin with the Midwest Bracket today, and will release bracket by bracket every day until the tournament starts on Thursday.

Report: Biggest Spenders in Men's CBB 🤑
First Round
1 Louisville vs. 16 Play-in winner—Do I really have to guess that? Obviously the Cardinals.
8 Ohio State vs. 9 Siena—The game is being played in Dayton, OH, but I love Siena. Senior Guard Kenny Hasbrouk is the real deal. Siena wins.
5 Utah vs. 12 Arizona—Arizona made it in by the hair on their chinny chin chins...but they are a very talented crew. Arizona wins.
4 Wake Forest vs. 13 Cleveland State—Wake Forest spent a week at No. 1 this year. They hit a few rocks, but are playing good ball right now. Wake wins.
6 West Virginia vs. 11 Dayton—Dayton is a hard team to figure out. West Virginia just played their rears off in the Big East tournament. West Virginia wins.
3 Kansas vs. 14 North Dakota State—Kansas sets out to defend their national title. The Bison are newbies to the field of 65. I love the upset. Go Bison!
7 Boston College vs. USC—USC looked great in the Pac-10 tourney. BC has been inconsistent all year long. I don't know how they got a 7-seed. USC wins.
2 Michigan State vs. 15 Robert Morris—Michigan State wins easily.
Second Round
Louisville vs. Siena—This will be a good tough game. I think it goes back and forth, but Louisville is just playing too well right now to lose in the second round.
Arizona vs. Wake Forest—Arizona could shock us in this one, but I'm sticking with the Deacons.
West Virginia vs. North Dakota State—The Bison become this year's Cinderella. On to the Sweet 16!
USC vs. Michigan State—As much as I love to watch USC play, I can't help but think the Spartans are one of the top teams in the country and they get it done in round two.
Sweet 16
Louisville vs. Wake Forest—Another tough, gritty matchup. Rick Pitino's boys are primed and ready for a game of this magnitude though. Cardinals win.
North Dakota State vs. Michigan State—Spartans end the magical Bison run, setting up a great Elite 8 game.
Elite 8
Louisville vs. Michigan State—I am sticking with the Cards' to get to the Final Four. You have to love what Tom Izzo has done at Michigan State, but Louisville is just too hot at the right time.
Louisville wins the Midwest Region and advances to the Final Four.
Tomorrow's preview/predictions will cover the West Bracket.
