Idaho vs. BYU: TV Schedule, Live Stream, Radio, Game Time and More
The Idaho football team has been reeling all season and facing BYU with a new head coach isn't likely to help matters. Then again, things can't get any worse.
Idaho is 1-8, having a loss to a FCS program (Eastern Washington) and dropping a 66-0 decision to North Carolina. A 70-28 thrashing by WAC-leading Louisiana Tech was enough for the university to fire Robb Akey.
Former Washington State quarterback Jason Gesser, who has been on the staff for two seasons, was named the interim head coach.
The Cougars aren't likely to take pity on the Vandals. This game won't be competitive.

Betting Line (via OddsShark)
Over/Under: 49, Spread: BYU -38
Very little is expected of Idaho. The spread is so close to the over/under that is it very difficult to bet the under on this game.
I'd take BYU and surrender the points in this game.

BCS/Top-25 Implications
Neither of these teams are ready to put pressure on the Top-25 rankings. BYU is playing for positioning and a playoff spot, but Idaho is done.
Idaho Player to Watch: Defensive Line
If Idaho is going to keep this game from being a blowout, it will need some push from its defensive line. They need to halt the Cougars' ground game and pressure Riley Nelson when he attempts to throw the ball.
Idaho has been undersized in the trenches this season. Teams can't win if they can't control the line of scrimmage.
BYU Player to Watch: Riley Nelson, QB
The Cougars have had a bit of their own uncertainty at the quarterback position. Their leading passer is Nelson, but he's been in-and-out of the lineups.
Freshman Taysom Hill was given a chance to replace Nelson, but he ended up being inured.
Nelson is completing 59.8 percent of his passes for 1,440 yards but has 11 interceptions to just nine touchdowns.
Prediction: BYU 49, Idaho 10
The Cougars simply have too much strength to allow Idaho to hang around in this game. BYU will put the ball in the capable hands of Nelson to dismantle the Vandal defense.
He can lean on the running backs and don't be surprised if he takes several shots down the field. Cody Hoffman could have one of his biggest days of the season.
