Buffalo vs. New England Patriots
This game is a lock for the Patriots. It is always a lock. They have won 17 of the last 18 in this divisional rivalry, and they've beaten Buffalo 11 straight times at home.
Also, check out this stat provided by ESPN's James Walker: "Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is 19-2 in his career against the Bills. It’s the second-best record of any quarterback against one team since the NFL merger in 1970."
The Bills' defense has been shockingly inept. They are 31st against the rush and 24th against the pass. The Patriots' offense will be able to do whatever they want in this one.
Offensively, the Bills have been an outstanding rushing team, but the Patriots' rush defense has been solid this year, and they are eighth in the league against the rush. New England will win handily.
Prediction: Patriots 37, Bills 20
New York Jets vs. Seattle
The Seahawks are an insanely easy team to predict. They will win at home and lose on the road. It has been going on like this for years now. Sure, there are exceptions, but they are few and far between.
Seattle is 4-0 at home and 1-4 on the road this year.
Well, they are at home for this one, and that is bad news for New York. Adding fuel to this fire is the fact that the Seahawks' outstanding pass defense is going to make life extremely difficult for the Jets. Also, Seattle would just as soon run the ball as much as possible, which shouldn't be too hard against the Jets and their 29th-ranked rush defense.
Prediction: Seahawks 23, Jets 13
Kansas City vs. Pittsburgh
Here is a golden tip: If you are looking for a lock, take the team the Chiefs are playing. Kansas City is terrible, and things only appear to be getting worse.
This team is a sinking ship, and from top to bottom this organization is going to look entirely different next year.
Meanwhile, the Steelers have won three straight and are looking increasingly elite. Their pass defense has been outstanding, and Ben Roethlisberger is playing as well as anyone in the league.
I wouldn't expect the outcome of this one to ever be in serious doubt.
Prediction: Steelers 24, Chiefs 6
