Dolphins vs. Colts: Full Highlights and Recap
In the battle between rookie quarterbacks, Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts proved superior to Ryan Tannehill and the Miami Dolphins, and the Colts won at home by a score of 23-20.
Luck was simply brilliant. He broke Cam Newton's single-game rookie passing mark, totaling 433 yards on the game with two touchdowns and zero interceptions.
His rookie counterpart wasn't shabby either. Tannehill finished the day with 290 yards while throwing one touchdown and zero interceptions.Â

Donnie Avery and T.Y. Hilton both went over the century mark for the Colts, Hilton caught one of Luck's two touchdowns and Reggie Wayne pitched in with 78 yards and the other touchdown.Â
Reggie Bush scored on a brilliant 18-yard touchdown run, but he was held in check throughout the game. As a team, the Dolphins only managed 84 yards.
Adam Vinatieri only managed to hit two of his five field-goal attempts on the day, but he hit the one that mattered most in the fourth quarterâa 43-yard strike in the fourth quarter that proved to be the game-winner.
The Colts improved to 5-3 on the season and will face the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 10, while the Dolphins fell to 4-4 and will host the Tennessee Titans.
