An amazing 93,173 people packed the Pontiac Silverdome for WrestleMania III, the largest indoor attendance for any event in history as they all came to see the biggest match in wrestling history Hogan vs Andre.

There was another match that will go down in history as the greatest wrestling match ever that no one expected Savage vs Steamboat. The greatest match that I have ever seen that we will never see again didn't over-shadow the big match of the evening but it did steal the show.

Vince McMahon was cashing in on the seed he planted 1985 with the first WrestleMania.

Hogan who had headlined his thrid WrestleMania in a row. Steamboat beating Savage was the first time the IC title changed hands at WrestleMania. The biggest crowd for the biggest crowd ever was just the biggest WrestleMania ever.

Only the IC and WWE title were on the line and only one of the two changed.

WrestleMania III Rating: 10 out of 10. This was the greatest WrestleMania to date because it changed the face of wrestling forever and Steamboat/Savage and Hogan/Andre alone gave it this ranking but the card was full of great matches.
