Colts Release Kenny Moore

Projecting Every NFL Team's Starting Lineup 🔮

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Brady Quinn, QB, Kansas City Chiefs
Status: Out
Brady Quinn will miss the Kansas City Chiefs’ Thursday Night Football matchup against the San Diego Chargers with a concussion, according to the Chicago Tribune. Matt Cassel will get another chance to secure the team’s starting QB role after losing the job to Quinn a few weeks ago.
Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers
Status: Out
Even though Rashard Mendenhall was able to practice earlier in the week, he will not play this week against the New York Giants, according to Mike Bires of Times Online.
"Steelers won't have RBs Mendenhall & Dwyer Sunday vs. NY. They are officially listed as doubtful, but they will not play. #steelers
— Mike Bires (@mikebires) November 2, 2012"
The fact that Johnathan Dwyer is also out is very bad news for the Steelers. The backfield has been devastated by injuries this season and it has hurt the team's ability to get a consistent running game.
Mario Williams, DE, Buffalo Bills
Status: Active
After undergoing wrist surgery during the Buffalo Bills' bye week, high-priced defensive end Mario Williams told ESPN.com's James Walker about his poor play so far this season and his status for Week 9:
"Nobody wants me to do better than me. So definitely, with this procedure, it's definitely given me a lot of hope and a different mindset. I feel like I was stagnant. That's why I'm very excited to have been able to go clean it out and being optimistic about things…Oh, I'm definitely, definitely (playing). I'm not missing anything. It uplifts me tremendously.
"
Jordy Nelson, WR, Green Bay Packers
Status: Active
Thought to be a relatively minor injury, Green Back Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson missed his third straight day of practice on Friday but is active for Sunday's game, per the team's inactive list.
DeMarco Murray, RB, Dallas Cowboys
Status: Out
Though he's reportedly making progress, Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray has been ruled out of Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons, per ESPN's Calvin Watkins:
"Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray is making progress in his rehab from a sprained foot, but he will not play Sunday night against the unbeaten Atlanta Falcons.
Murray said he did some running this week and has a target date for a return, but won't reveal it. He said Friday that missing his third straight game is "a little frustrating."
"
Darren Sproles, RB, New Orleans Saints
Status: Out
The New Orleans Times-Picayune's Mike Tripplett broke the news that Sproles won't be in the lineup due to hand surgery:
"#Saints RB Darren Sproles will not play Monday night vs. #Eagles because of broken hand that required surgery
— Mike Triplett (@TripTP) November 2, 2012"
