Thoughts of the Week
I was bored and decided to write this.
1- Forget my last column; LeBron is the MVP. D-Wade may have less support on his team but how else can a player show how valuable he is than with three straight triple doubles.
Aside from this, I realized that its easier for me to believe that LeBron could carry the Heat like Wade to a fourth seed more than Wade carrying the Cavs to the 60-plus-win season they seem destined for.
2- I pity Chris Brown and Rihanna. His career is over. Her self-respect is gone. No professional help has been sought. The saddest part is that now everyone knows and they are both too embarrassed to do anything except live in denial.
Furthermore, anyone who looks at Puff Daddy/Diddy the same (i.e. doesn't lose respect for him) after this is a fool. Plain and simple.
3- The Suns season didn't end when Amare got injured. It ended when Steve Kerr was hired as GM. If he isn't fired after this season, there is no justice in this world.
4- Stephon Marbury on the Celtics may have just put a lid on another championship. I think the Celtics got too greedy and a little too naive.
5- I don't think Andrew Bynum is coming back this season. Just a gut feeling. I also don't think the Lakers win in the Finals unless they face the Cavs.
6- Allen Iverson won't play another minute with the Pistons again this season.
7- T.O. on Buffalo will end the same way it did with his last three teams: badly.
8- A-Rod is the biggest waste of news, much less life, anyone can spend reading about.
9- Jimmy Fallon is a terrible talk show host. Jimmy Kimmel is now officially the best.
10- Diddy, Manny, and T.O. also belong on No. 8.
