TNA: 'Impact! Wrestling' to Be Taped Outside the United States

Daniel PeragineJun 6, 2018

In the United Kingdom, TNA Wrestling has seen much success with its professional wrestling product. After airing two taped editions of Impact! Wrestling in the UK last year, TNA is set to make history once again.

TNA recently announced that it will tape four episodes of its flagship show, Impact! Wrestling, from Manchester, England and London's Wembley Arena in January, 2013. TNA will first tape two episodes of Impact! Wrestling in Manchester. The following day, TNA will head to the Wembley Arena in London to tape another two.

Among the stars that will be with TNA during its UK tour run are Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, Austin Aries Bobby Roode and James Storm, along with many others on the roster.

A smart move by TNA:

TNA is really making a terrific move by having Impact! Wrestling shown in the United States during its UK tour stop. TNA has done extremely well in the UK. This was seen when it packed the Wembley Arena last year while taping two editions of Impact! Wrestling.

Now that TNA is expanding it to four taped shows in 2013, Impact! Wrestling will also be at two different arenas, rather than one. This could make for great television because of what the UK crowd brings to its product. There is no question that TNA should see a very lively crowd for all its tapings and the rest of the UK tour.

I am expecting TNA to really be putting on its best editions of Impact! Wrestling while at the UK tapings. Perhaps the larger and more lively crowd will influence TNA to remove itself from the Impact! Zone from time to time to give wrestling fans something exciting to see on television.

This is a big move for the company and hopefully will lead to some more exciting announcements to come at the tail end of 2012.
