Champions League T20 Schedule 2012: Semifinals Dates, Times, Live Stream, More

The semifinal matches are set for the 2012 Champions League Twenty20 in South Africa. The Nashua Titans and the Delhi Daredevils emerged from Group A, while Group B advanced the Highveld Lions and Sydney Sixers.

The Mumbai Indians, the defending champions, failed to advance to the knockout rounds. They registered three losses and a no result in their four round-robin matches.

Sydney had the most successful showing in group play. They won all four matches with a Net Return Rate of plus-1.656.

Delhi advanced with two wins. Their other two matches were called due to rain.

1st Semifinal

Who: Delhi Daredevils vs Highveld Lions

When: Thursday, Oct. 25, 11:30 a.m. ET

2nd Semifinal

Who: Sydney Sixers vs Nashua Titans

The winners of the two semifinal matches meet in the finals on Sunday.

The Titans will have the advantage of playing on their home ground, but a second-seed from group play will pit them against the undefeated Sixers.

Sydney secured the top spot by defeating Highveld by five wickets. The Lions ended with the second-seed and a game against the top-seed from Group A, the Delhi Daredevils.

Players to Watch

Irfan Pathan, Delhi Daredevils

The Indian, left-armed swing bowler burst onto the international scene at the age of 19. He was instrumental in Delhi's Group play wins.

Jean Symes, Highveld Lions

Symes returns home for the Twenty20. The South African-born, left-handed batsman also fills in as a slow bowler.

The Lions will need a big day from him if they are going to challenge Delhi.

Mitchell Starc, Sydney Sixers

The Sixers have relied on Starc extensively during Twenty20 play. He's one of the better fast bowlers in the tournament.

Starc has taken 67 wickets in Twenty20 play and will be called upon to help Sydney reach the finals. He leads 2012 play with 11 total wickets.

Sydney gets their offensive production from a very balanced offense. Their bowlers need to be the difference.

Jacques Rudolph, Nashua Titans

The Titans will need Rudolph to continue his solid play in this tournament. He led the Titans in runs scored in each of their three group play matches, scoring 171 total runs. 

Rudolph has played in 79 Twenty20 matches with 2001 career runs scored. 

Prediction

Delhi and Sydney are on a collision course to meet in the finals. It is difficult to take the Titans too seriously following their 99-run loss to the Kolkata Knight Riders.
