Best St. Louis Cardinals Reliever Mustache (Contestant No. 2)
As promised when we first announced the “The Monthly Mustache Shakedown”—we continue on week two of our first Shakedown series as we look for the “Best St. Louis Cardinals Reliever Mustache.”
In week one, we looked at “The Mad Hungarian” Al Hrabosky, who not only has one of the greatest Cardinals mustaches of all time, but arguably one of the great sports lip curtains of all time.
This week, we look at former Cardinals reliever Todd Worrell. Worrell pitched in the bigs from 1985 - 1997 and built a sturdy career as a respected reliever and midget juggler.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
He pitched his first six seasons, of course, in St. Louis—often showing up to the park with only his zebra patterned g-string and bible. And his last five years in the show were with the Dodgers.
Throughout his ups (registering 256 career saves) and downs (having a middle name of “Roland”), Worrell’s one constant, as you can see in this picture, was his textbook “Chevron” style cookie duster.
Indeed, in a recent interview with High Times magazine, Worrell credited his mustache saying it was the “only performance enhancer I ever needed during my career.” Or at least, that’s what we are reporting so you’ll have to take our word for it.
So there it is: the second contestant of the “Best St. Louis Cardinals Relievers Mustaches”, we trot out the prudently mouth-browed and ever so Christian Todd Worrell.
