Barry Bonds and the Tigers' Prospects
With Opening Day just around the corner, I'm excited. Another season of baseball, maybe finally we can get past all this steroid crap. Or so I thought.
President Fehr of the MLBPA decides he wants to investigate why Barry Bonds isn't getting to talk with any teams. Claiming to file discrimination, this is all crap. Does the MLBPA have nothing better to do than support someone who isn't playing. Barry is done. Don't get me wrong, I liked him back in the day, I always picked him for my video game squads. But he's washed up. 43 years old and squandering away his baseball card value for me while he ruins his stat lines and embarrasses himself trying to DH for an American League team that would only be interested in him for the ticket sales.

Yankees Call Up 6'7" Prospect 📈
C'mon Barry, have more respect and pride than that. You ruined baseball for alot of us, we all stood behind you for awhile. Let the game go. Go try to be a coach, or better yet, go to raising you kids and sitting back reaping the rewards you've earned(either having cheated to earn them or not). But the best thing you can do is stop playing. You'll save the game that way - help get over this dark spot in baseball history.
As for me, I'm still getting used to having something to be excited about on Opening Day. The Tigers are a favorite to win the AL Central crown, and the pennant. I can only hope they don't tank down the stretch again this year. Hopefully that offense stays potent, Brandon Inge can stay happy and get put on the bench as an extremely volatile pinch hitter/back up fielder - all in all it should be a good year. The rotation looks solid, and with back ups like that 19 year old kid (Rick Porcello), it should only get better with the season, as long as bonderman doesn't hide injuries from us again. The lineup is wicked mad deadly(I remember reading somewhere about it possibly setting the record for most runs scored in a season). And to top it all off, we've got the farm system, the back ups, and the salary room to make something happen by the trade deadline, if it need be so.
Go Tigers!
