Fantasy Football Week 7: Drew Brees and Players Set For Monster Games
Drew Brees may seem like Captain Obvious when it comes to predicting fantasy football excellence, but he's primed to go off even more against the NFL's 31st ranked pass offense. The Tampa Buccaneers can't stop anyone through the air. The Bucs have only had one decent performance against the pass this season.
That came in Week 6 against the Kansas City Chiefs who had Brady Quinn starting in place of Matt Cassel. Brees is no Cassel, and you can bet his stat-line will look more like the other four quarterbacks that have faced the Bucs this season.
Aside from Quinn, no other opposing signal-caller has thrown for less than 280 yards against this defense. Brees is going to go nuts on the Bucs.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Here are three other players primed for a fantasy explosion.
Andre Johnson
The Baltimore Ravens face the Houston Texans with significant injuries to all three levels of their defense. Haloti Ngata will likely play as Edward Lee of the Baltimore Sun reports that the Pro Bowl lineman practiced on Thursday. That said, he's still battling multiple injuries.
Ray Lewis is said to be out for the season, per Sporting News on October 14, but Lewis recently told Ngata, "I'll be back", according to Nate Davis of USA Today. We'll see how that pans out, but the Ravens definitely won't have the greatest LB in history against the Texans on Sunday.
Most damaging—and relevant to this section—is the season-ending knee injury to Lardarius Webb. He would have matched up with Andre Johnson much of the day, but without him Jimmy Smith gets the call.
Smith isn't a horrible corner, but he isn't elite. Dez Bryant took advantage of him last week as he racked up 13 receptions for 95 yards and two touchdowns. Most of that production came while Smith was on him.
Johnson and Bryant are both big, physical receivers, and Johnson figures to give Smith similar problems. Johnson is a great play this week against the Ravens and Smith.
McFadden is still healthy, which is surprising in itself, but he's yet to have the explosive day he's capable of. That game could very well come on Sunday.
McFadden has eclipsed the 100-yard mark only one time this season, but the Jacksonville Jaguars run defense is not very good. They are ranked just 30th in the NFL against the run, and the Oakland Raiders showed a nice commitment to the ground game against the Atlanta Falcons last week.
The Raiders took the baby mittens off McFadden, and let him carry it 27 times. He has a slightly dinged shoulder, but who doesn't? ESPN lists him as probable for the Jaguars game. McFadden and the Raiders are in a great position to run over the Jaguars.
Start DMC this week.
