Preview

St. John's is looking for their second Big East Tournament upset in as many days. In the first round, they took out Georgetown 64-59—the second time in a week they have upset the Hoyas.

The 13th seeded Red Storm, though, haven't had as good a season as coach Norm Roberts would have liked. They lost their senior star, Anthony Mason, Jr., to a foot injury at the beginning of the season.

Players have stepped up in his absence, but he was definitely been missed by his team during conference play.

The Golden Eagles have been very successful this season, but they struggled down the stretch as they lost their last four games. This was due to their very tough schedule and the loss of senior guard Dominique James do a season-ending injury in the UConn game.

Marquette already had a shallow rotation, so losing one of their top performers has severely hurt them.

With the Big East Tournament being played on St. John's home court, Marquette faithful are forced to wonder if the loss of James will hurt them into the post-season as well.
